Hornsey Town Hall to Offer Stunning New Co-Working Hub in the Heart of Creative Crouch End Community

    A New Cultural Home

When Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End reopens in 2021/2022, a stunning open plan co-working hub will form an integral part of the new Arts Centre, in the heart of one of North London’s most creative communities. Designed to attract entrepreneurs, freelancers, creatives and small business owners from the local community and new residents living at Hornsey Town Hall; the facility will meet a cultural shift towards individuals wanting to work from home and the desire to live within and be a part of a community.

Currently 49.2% of adults in employment in the UK are working from home as a result of the pandemic.1 According to a poll by iNews of 1,500 UK business owners, 53% said working from home has increased overall productivity, with a further 82% saying they are considering changing future work practices, to allow working from home once lockdown is over.1 This has also lead to big companies such as Google, Facebook and Twitter taking steps in allowing staff to work from home for the foreseeable future.

The co-working offering at Hornsey Town Hall will be operated by The Time + Space Co. There will be a hybrid of flexible workspace available including options to utilise communal spaces such as the foyer and reception, among other areas. In addition, larger event venues and meeting spaces can be hired at discounted rates for members. For those who thrive off some social interaction at work, Hornsey Town Hall offers that ideal balance of privacy whilst providing a space for people to mingle and share ideas, alleviating any isolation that comes from working strictly from home.

Angela Walsh, Sales & Marketing Director at Far East Consortium, the developer behind Hornsey Town Hall, comments: “In recent months, the importance of being able to work from home has become an essential feature of our homes; needing a space which allows us to be efficient and productive. We are excited that Hornsey Town Hall will offer just that as part of our Arts Centre. We hope that locals and residents will love the newly formatted 21st-century style working spaces, which embrace the new way of working, by providing a ‘home from home’ office experience.”

The new Arts Centre will also provide outstanding performance arts, restaurants and cafés, and versatile event spaces, with easy access to a hotel and chic stunning rooftop bar and terrace. The new homes development will be adjacent to the Arts Centre, offering high specification accommodation ranging from one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Key elements include floor-to-ceiling windows, underfloor heating as well as, chevron timber flooring inspired by the Town Hall. Designer kitchens will include fully integrated appliances and state-of-the-art finishes. The bathrooms will feature chevron porcelain wall tiles; a contemporary nod to Hornsey Town Hall’s modernist aesthetic. Many of the apartments at Hornsey Town Hall will feature balconies, terraces or gardens.

Crouch End is well connected to London and beyond. Stopping outside Town Hall Square, the W7 bus runs to Finsbury Park Underground Station, with links into central London via the Victoria line, and National Rail services across the country.

    Prices start from £499,950 for a one-bedroom apartment, £644,950 for a two-bedroom apartment and £959,950 for a three-bedroom apartment.
